Miki Miura, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, is an award-winning family nurse practitioner, an international lecturer, a nursing researcher, and a clinical educator.

She was selected for the State Award for Excellence for the state of Hawaii by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in 2024 for her demonstration of excellence in clinical practice and efforts to advance the image, profile, and visibility of NPs at the state level. While working at two clinical practices in Hawaii, Miki also teaches family nurse practitioner students from the top DNP program in the state. She trains preceptors for a nurse practitioner residency program at a community health center. She also serves as a committee member to improve policies related to the practices of nurse practitioners in Hawaii to maximize the potential of Hawaii nurse practitioners and better serve the people in Hawaii.

As a coach and a mentor, Miki can help prospective and current nurse practitioner students and newly graduated nurse practitioners strategically build careers to enjoy both work and life.
